The rise of AI on Data Centers
Data centers have gained a lot more demand in recent times due to the artificial intelligence (AI) boom of the last few years, from ChatGBT first launching in November 2022 to now reaching about 300 million users, AI tools appearing in what seems to be every app we use, even fully AI commercials from multi-billion dollar brands like Coca-Cola. AI has shown to be an ever growing conglomerate that doesn’t show an end any time soon. So now data centers have been put ever increasing demand to supply this AI boom. AI requires a vastly larger amount of computing power from data centers, even requiring whole data centers to be focused solely on AI. These data centers usually require specialized hardware accelerators, high-performance servers, and networking infrastructure which require massive amounts of data processing and overload to meet the demands that are being put on them.
